Ghetto Stitching is a collaboration between Street Art and Craft.
Ghetto Stitchers photograph their favourite art-on-the-street and then create an embroidered version of the piece.
Ghetto Stitching Guidelines:
1. Please date and document the exact location of the original artwork
2. Stitch your street with heaps of love! It doesn't have to be perfect - just have a crack!
3. Please upload your original photo of the piece - and a photo of the finished piece to our Flickr group!
4. We'll periodically feature interesting Ghetto Stitchers on this very blog!
5. Spread the word!
6. If you're stuck on technique - keep watching the blog and we'll teach you how - and show you our works in progress too!
If you would like to appear on the Ghetto-Stitchers List to the right - you need to email us a photo of your finished work and your url so we can add you to the list! Find us at ghettostitching(at)yahoo(dot)com
